Melisent is an artist based out of Canada.

I am trained as an architect, however, my passion lies in creating art and sharing it with those who connect with what I create.

The world pulls me in many different directions. I am a painter, a photographer, a writer, a designer. And I believe that all of these art forms are intrinsically connected.

I find immense joy being in nature. My favourite pastime is to bring my sketchbook, my notebook, and my cameras out into the unknown, and capture it on the page. I am always on the hunt for beauty, immortalizing it with pencil, on 35mm film, and in the form of a poem.

I am one artist of five who make up a collaborative art studio called Cartier Studios. I share my love of art with my family, and together we have created a space where we can share and sell our art as a collective.
